No, I do not recommend this property.
The room was dirty. The bath/shower drainage was clogged and didn't drain so when we had a shower, a heap of black gunk came out. We had to get someone to come in and plunge the drain. The shape of the bath/shower could also be deemed a safety hazard - especially as the water didn't drain properly.
I was told I had complimentary parking by reception as I booked directly with the hotel (as we came from Australia we had a hire car) and all I needed to do was write my registration on the booking form when checking in. I specifically asked if I needed to type my registration into the machine and was told no. Turns out I received a parking fine from the hotel car park a couple of weeks later. The hotel cancelled the fine when I complained but I received a $150 admin charge from the car hire company which I have had to pay. After weeks of attempting to get the hotel to pay me this amount as their staff caused the issue, they have refused - this is ridiculous as the mistake was made between the hotel and the parking company - not me! Terrible customer service. Especially as I am an IHG member - IHG has lost me as a customer moving forward. Definitely don't stay here!

We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns in your room and the trouble with the shower drainage. This does not reflect the standards we strive to maintain, and your comments have been passed along to our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate review and corrective action.
Regarding the parking situation, I can confirm that we have contacted you directly in relation to the fine, and we understand how frustrating the resulting hire company fee must have been. While the original fine was cancelled, we truly regret that the additional charge was incurred and as previously explained, you need to contact the parking company direct as they were the issuer. We appreciate your loyalty as an IHG member and apologize that your experience did not meet expectations.
Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention. We value your feedback and are taking steps to ensure these issues are addressed so future guests have a much more positive stay.

I stayed at the VOCO for a 2 night stay, modern airy hotel with high ceiling in the entrance.
The receptionist was polite and attentive. Bit of a shock to be charged for the parking at £10 per night. Nice comfortable bed with adequate amenities.

Good size room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom extras, super friendly staff, modern and clean hotel all round. Spa and outside area gorgeous, especially when the sun is shining. At breakfast make sure you get an omelette, they are like cakes! Food was great, pizzas huge! Fab stay away.

Have stayed here before under the Holiday Inn brand, the VOCO rebranding really has made this hotel more upmarket.
Excellent welcome on our early arrival, room was not ready and didn’t expect it to be with it being the only suite in the hotel.
The suite was very comfortable, nice to be provided with a complimentary stocked mini fridge. If there was one negative it would be, nice that the bathroom is, a little more money could’ve been spent here making it a little more luxurious, just a personal thought.
The food in the restaurant was good with very attentive service.
Breakfast the following morning was vast improvement from our last stay as Holiday Inn. Asked for a made to order omelette, cooked very well and the hot buffet items were just that, hot!
All in all an excellent stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Stayed over the first weekend in April, booked it due to the hotel being dog friendly. Wow, besides my dog getting a super comfy doggy bed, he also got some goodies and a welcome box from the hotel! Every thoughtful!! There’s plenty of greenery to take your dog out in the morning or in the evening for a quick toilet!
Stunning hotel, menu is so versatile and we ended up dining in the restaurant on both nights as the pizzas were just incredible.
Rooms were really nice and distance to Winchester city centre was within a short drive - perfect for a long walk with the dog!
100% recommend and cannot wait to stay again!
